How to download TikTok audio

  1. Open the public video in TikTok and use Share > Copy link.
  2. Paste the complete post link into the form above.
  3. Choose Download audio when an audio track is available.
  4. Open the saved file from your browser downloads or your device’s Files app.

A music name, search result or profile address is not the same as a video link. Use the post itself so the service can identify its available track.

What the audio download contains

The result is the audio supplied for that post. It can include speech, background music and other sounds already combined in the video. TikSave does not separate voices from music, create an instrumental version or search for the full original song.

Audio can be MP3 or another format supplied upstream. The download uses the available file type; changing a file extension does not convert its contents. If a post has no separate audio track, no audio button is shown.

If the audio option is missing

First open the original video to check that the sound is still available. Then copy a fresh link to the public post and try again after a short wait. Some posts have unavailable or restricted audio. A download service cannot recreate a track the source does not provide.

If the audio downloads but your player cannot open it, check the file type and try a compatible audio player. See our download troubleshooting guide for the difference between a missing track and a failed file transfer.

Questions about this tool

Can I download every TikTok sound as MP3?

No. A separate audio file must be supplied for the public post. Its actual format and availability can vary. TikSave does not transcode audio.

Does this download a full song?

It downloads the track supplied with the post, which may be an excerpt and may include speech or other sounds.

Where is the audio saved on my phone?

Check your browser downloads or Files app. Audio does not normally appear in your photo gallery.
