1. Information We Do Not Collect

TikSave does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• The TikTok URLs you paste into our tool
• The videos or audio files you download
• Your IP address (beyond standard server logs)
• Cookies used for tracking or advertising

2. How the Download Process Works

When you paste a TikTok URL and click Download, our server makes a request to a third-party API (tikwm.com) to retrieve the video stream. The video is streamed directly to your browser and is never saved on our servers. Once the download is complete, no copy of the file exists on our system.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• tikwm.com API — used to resolve TikTok video download URLs. Your TikTok URL is sent to this service. Please review their own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — we load the Inter typeface from Google's servers. This may log your IP address. You can block this via browser extensions if desired.

4. Cookies

TikSave uses a single cookie: theme, stored in your browser's localStorage. It stores your dark/light mode preference only. It contains no personal data and is never sent to any server.

5. Server Logs

Our web server (Apache/XAMPP) may keep standard access logs that include your IP address, request time, and browser type. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are not shared with any third party.

6. Children's Privacy

TikSave is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of TikSave after changes means you accept the updated policy.
