TikSave does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• The TikTok URLs you paste into our tool
• The videos or audio files you download

2. Analytics Data We Collect

With your consent, TikSave collects anonymous analytics data to understand how visitors use our site. This includes:

• Your IP address (used solely to determine your country and region)
• Visit date and time
• Traffic source (e.g. Google, Facebook, or direct access)
• Country and region (derived from your IP via ip-api.com)

This data is stored in our private database and is never sold or shared with third parties. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing our analytics cookie (gdpr_consent) from your browser.

3. How the Download Process Works

When you paste a TikTok URL and click Download, our server makes a request to a third-party API (tikwm.com) to retrieve the video stream. The video is streamed directly to your browser and is never saved on our servers. Once the download is complete, no copy of the file exists on our system.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• tikwm.com API — used to resolve TikTok video download URLs. Your TikTok URL is sent to this service. Please review their own privacy policy.
• ip-api.com — used to determine your country and region from your IP address, for analytics purposes only. Only used with your consent.
• Google Fonts — we load the Inter typeface from Google's servers. This may log your IP address. You can block this via browser extensions if desired.

5. Cookies

TikSave uses the following cookies:

• theme — stored in localStorage, saves your dark/light mode preference. Never sent to any server.
• gdpr_consent — stores your cookie consent choice (accept/decline). Expires after 1 year.

6. Server Logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs that may include your IP address, request time, and browser type. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are not shared with any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

TikSave is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of TikSave after changes means you accept the updated policy.
